Bruce Childs Lecture & end of year Left drinks

On Tuesday 6th December join us for the Annual Bruce Childs Lecture and end of year Left drinks. This is the last Left event for the year – it would be great to see you there!

The Annual Bruce Childs Lecture is dedicated to building a culture of ideas in the party, and this year we wanted to hear the story of and learn from the decade long campaign by union activists that culminated this year in an Albanese Labor Government enshrining 10 days paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave in the National Employment Standards.

Join Australian Services Union Secretary Angus McFarland the women activists and unionists who began and sustained the campaign. Hear what was won, how it was won and what it means for people experiencing family and domestic violence.
