The crisis in higher education
Time & Location
About The Event
COVID-19 has once again demonstrated the value of universities, as governments and policy makers seek answers to the public health crisis enveloping the globe. And yet, there continues to be a reluctance to adequately fund higher education and a push to get students to shoulder more of the cost through increased fees.
Join Shadow Education Minister Tanya Plibersek and UTS Executive Director, Social Justice (and former NSW Minister for Education) Verity Firth for a discussion on the importance of higher education and why we need to resist cuts to university funding.
