The crisis in higher education

COVID-19 has once again demonstrated the value of universities, as governments and policy makers seek answers to the public health crisis enveloping the globe.  And yet, there continues to be a reluctance to adequately fund higher education and a push to get students to shoulder more of the cost through increased fees.
